0605 Dry fine powder hopper for water-saturated clay.
Eliminating the bridge phenomenon! Introducing a case study of a dry fine powder hopper for water-saturated clay.
This is an installation case of the bridging phenomenon that occurs due to the poor fluidity of fine powder, despite the hopper having a gentle slope. Three Brodie disks were installed per side, with one on the lower level and two on the upper level, for a total of 12 disks to resolve the issue. At our company, if we can review your sample and hopper diagram, we will provide a reasonable implementation proposal that suits your needs. Please feel free to contact us. [Implementation Overview (Partial)] ■ Target Material: Dried pulverized water-washed clay - Particle Size: Approximately 10μm on average - Moisture Content: Over 1% (with variability, some can be quite high) ■ Hopper: 1500×1500 (conical hopper) - Slope: Approximately 50° ■ Equipment Configuration: Three Brodie disks per side (one on the lower level and two on the upper level) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
